I dreamed this shield almost 2 years ago when i first stared reading about Iron age Britain. This is the Battersea Shield. This is a great link to see a nice clear view of the intricate enamel and Repousse metal work and its pristine condition. They say it was too decorative to be used battle, and i can see why - it was found in the Thames. Many offerings were found there and buried. I bury things and offer things- do you?
My dream back then was of a very tattooed man and i waiting on a hilltop of much importance. We approached a battle of great antiquity. Warriors were we. He held this shield, and then... battle commenced. If you knew me better i would tell you more.
